On the Jeep JK, the OE lower ball joints cary the entire load of the vehicle. We designed our Dual Load Carrying ball joint system so the upper and lower share the load.
Lower Ball Joint Features:
- Eliminates OE nylon internal components, and uses a heavy duty, greaseable steel-on-steel design
- Low profile housing clears RCV axles
- 32MM powdered metal bearing replaces the undersized OE plastic bearing
- All hardware is included
- Made in the USA
Upper Ball Joint Features:
- Like nothing you’ve seen before. It uses our revolutionary adjustable load carrying cap to set the load distribution
- Unlike OE, this presses in from the bottom, allowing it to carry part of the load
- It carries an average of 20% of the load, reducing the load on the lower ball joint
- Heavy duty – uses Timken tapered roller bearings for load carrying, and PTFE lined epoxy bearings to compensate for any minor misalignment of the inner Cs
- All hardware is included
